Thank you for choosing Coast Holidays. By staying with us you agree to adhere to the Terms and Conditions outlined below. Failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions gives Coast Holidays the right to refuse the key, amend the rate or immediate termination of the holiday agreement.

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully and don’t not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

Booking Policy with Coast Holidays
• When making a booking, an agreement is made between yourself and the owner of the property. Coast Holidays are the agent for the owner. We may therefore need to consult the owner regarding any pricing, refund, bond claim or other issues before it can be finalised.
• Under no circumstance is the property to be sub-let throughout the duration of a guests stay. Failure to comply with this policy will result in immediate termination and loss of bond.
• If we as the managing agent do not think that the property is suitable, or if the owner refuses the booking, we will let the guest know as we may be able to offer alternative property options.
• The property is not to be booked by persons under the age of 25.
• Coast holidays has the right to cancel the booking and claim compensation where necessary, if the guest provides false or misleading information when making a booking (such as number of guests, disclosure of pets or ages of guests).
• Any type of disturbance caused to neighbours is not accepted. We have a strict no party policy. If a noise complaint is made the police may be notified. A call out fee of $500 may apply and possible eviction with no refund of remaining nights accommodation.
• If you have an issue during your stay, please report it as soon as possible to allow us the opportunity to rectify it. We will not be responsible for compensation for issues that are reported late or after you vacate the property.

Payments
• A deposit of 50% of total rent is required at time of booking. Bookings will be cancelled if the deposit has not been made.
• Final payment must be paid 21 days prior to your arrival. Including bond.
• Should you make a booking within 21 days of your arrival 100% of the accommodation, including the bond will need to be paid within 48hours.
• Payments may be paid by bank transfer or by credit card via online payment systems. Credit cards incur a 2% surcharge. Amex credit cards incur a 3.5% charge.

Cancellation or Amendments By Guest
• For any cancellations or changes to your booking please contact Coast Holidays immediately.
• A cancellation policy applies to each booking. If a booking is cancelled within one (1) month prior to arrival, 100% cancellation fee is incurred with no refunds. However, if we are able to rebook the property a refund maybe offered. Cancellation outside one (1) month prior to arrival * incurs a $150 cancellation fee and all remaining deposit will be refunded.
• A refund (minus the cancellation fee) will only be issued if the booking is booked by another party for the entire booking period at the same rate or greater.
• A date change may be available at the owner’s discretion and would be subject to availability and a price change may apply.

Cancellation or Amendments By Coast Holidays
• An owner is entitled to withdraw their property from our rental portfolio at their discretion, although this is an uncommon event. We at Coast Holidays do not accept responsibility for the owners decision.
• Cancellations may occur by Coast Holidays or the owner if we believe the property is uninhabitable due to unforeseen maintenance or circumstances.
• Guests will be contacted immediately for any cancellation or amendments and alternative properties will be offered (rate changes may apply) or a full refund will be given for any funds paid to date.

Arrival
• Arrival time is 3pm unless alternative arrangements has been confirmed with Coast Holidays prior to arrival (subject to availability).
• Only 1 Set of keys will be provided for each property.
• Keys for your holiday home are located in a lock box at the property or close by. The lock box code will be emailed to you 48hours prior to arrival.
• If you have an issue during your stay, please report it as soon as possible to allow us the opportunity to rectify it. We will not be responsible for compensation for issues that are reported late or after you vacate the property.

Departure
• Checkout is 10am unless alternative arrangements has been confirmed with Coast Holidays prior to arrival (subject to availability).
• Please leave the property in a neat and tidy condition.
• All rubbish and food items are required to be removed from the property.
• BBQ must be clean prior to departure. Uncleaned BBQ may incur a $50.00 cleaning fee and will be deducted from the refundable bond.
• Any additional cleaning or removal of rubbish after the guest’s departure may incur an additional fee and will be taken from the refundable bond.
• Please ensure when leaving all lights, fans, air conditioning and tv’s are turned off. All windows and doors are closed and locked.
Keys are to be returned to the same location as collected on arrival.

Linen
• Coast Holidays homes supply linen for our guests this excludes beach towels, however there may be properties that do not supply linen and this is indicated on your booking confirmation. Please feel free to contact us should you have any questions regarding our linen service.

Rubbish
• Please use garbage bins provided at the property. We are ask that you place the rubbish bins on the curb side on departure.
• Please make sure all rubbish inside is removed and place in correct bins outside.
• Red lid is general waste, yellow lid is recycling and green bin is garden waste.
• Please refer to the property compendium for bin collection day.
• Any excess rubbish is the guest’s responsibility, and a rubbish removal fee may apply and this charge will be deducted from the refundable bond.

Lost Property
• A fee of $25 plus postage will be charged if Coast Holidays are required to collect and return the items left by the guests. All lost property is held for 2 weeks.
• Coast Holidays are not responsible for any personal property left in or around the premises.

Pet Policy
• Coast Holidays is pleased to offer pet friendly properties. Pets are not permitted unless prior approval has been obtained from Coast Holidays and/or the owner.
• We will ask for the breed, age and temperament of the pet to ensure your pet is suitable for the property.
• Under no circumstances are pets to be left at the property unattended, allowed on any furniture, beds or carpeted areas. Extra cleaning costs may apply and will be deducted from the refundable bond.
• Please remove any pet faeces from the yard upon departure and dispose of in a sealed plastic bag. Extra cleaning charges may apply if our cleaners have to dispose of your pets waste.
• Any damage caused to furniture, walls, flooring or gardens will be deducted from the refundable bond.

Maintenance and Repairs
• Coast Holidays will endeavour to have the property in good working order, however, we cannot guarantee every aspect of the property and especially items that can be inherently temperamental – electronics, Wi-Fi, television reception, barbecue, or the functioning of pools and spas.
• If there are any issues with the safety of the property throughout the duration of the guests stay, please contact Coast Holidays immediately so we can take the correct course of action to get these issues resolved.
• Guests are to allow repair or service personnel to enter the premises upon arrangement for the purpose of conducting a repair.

Furnishing
• All of our holiday properties are furnished to the owner’s personal taste and Coast Holidays take no responsibility for any unmet expectations or any changes in décor from the photographs advertised.
• If the property does not offer certain luxuries such as WIFI, TV, coffee machine, pantry basics, linen, air conditioning, dishwasher etc, this a decision made entirely by the owner of the property and Coast Holidays will not accept responsibility for this.
• Please do not move furniture around the house or un-cable televisions, DVDs or other electronic devices. In the event of furniture being moved or electrical items interfered with, you may incur a fee which will be taken from the refundable bond.

Building Disruptions
• If in the event that there is construction or building work being carried out near the premises, we will always make sure to advise guests upon booking, however, please be aware that in some cases we are not notified.
• Coast Holidays and the owner of the property do not accept any responsibility for such disturbances or inconvenience that guests may suffer as a result. No discounts are offered in any such cases.

Home Surveillance
• Please be advised some of our Holiday Homes have Video surveillance. All camera’s are installed to monitor the exterior of the property. Internal camera’s are not utilised whilst guests are in residents.

Disclaimer
• All bookings are made in good faith by Coast Holidays, but we cannot be held responsible for actions taken by the owner of the premises or events which are outside our control.
• All courtesy will be given on genuine dissatisfaction. Any information contained in holiday advertisements or related websites are subject to alteration without notice.

Respect
• Our owners have taken particular care to provide our guests with all the comforts of home. They have endeavoured to enrich your stay with furniture and furnishings of their personal taste and we ask that you treat their home with respect and care. All of our homes are in quiet residential street’s and we ask you to respect our neighbours by keeping noise down if using outdoor entertaining areas.

Security Bond
All guests are required to pay a bond prior to their arrival. The bond amount will vary depending on the property, the minimum bond payable is $500.
• Please allow 7-10 business days for the bond to be processed.
• If the property has not been left in its original state, we will contact the guest to discuss further and hold the bond where necessary.
• Coast Holidays has the authority to deduct monies from or retain the bond to cover any damages, repairs, disturbances, missing household items, additional cleaning and removal of excess rubbish from the property.
• Pre authorisation for your bond will be processed the day of your arrival. Should your stay exceed a 7 day minimum, a second pre authorisation will occur on day 6 of your stay.
